No infant formula sold in Australia contains fluoride. Bottle feeding in fluoridated areas ensures that cavity fighting benefits are still gained at the optimal safe level, but this is not the case in 95 percent of Queensland which remains unfluoridated.
The issue of mixing infant formula and fluoridated water is simple … only use one source of fluoride and avoid double-dipping at a critical time of infant tooth development.
